Esteban Guerrieri scored the first podium for the chassis in the first race at Croft last weekend, while his Ultimate Motorsport teammate Michael Devaney was also in contention for the podium, and JTR's Joe Tandy finished sixth in race two.
Devaney, who lost the third place at Croft to Guerrieri when he suffered an engine failure on the last lap, believes the high-speed, low-downforce nature of the Monza circuit will give the Mygale its best chance to take an outright victory.
"I think we can win with this car," he told autosport.com. "It's definitely quick enough, we just need the reliability. Monza should suit us well because we've got less downforce and drag than the Dallara, but we'll need a trouble-free run."
Guerrieri added: "It's great to see all the hard work that's gone into this car pay off. We proved at Croft that if the car is right and the conditions are right, we can be quick enough. I think we have the ability to win."
