West-Tec sign Snegirev for British F3

Team West-Tec have signed Russian Max Snegirev for the British Formula 3 National Class this season.

The 21-year-old will drive the same Dallara F307 that West-Tec teammate Jay Bridger took to last year's class title with Fluid Motorsport.

"I am very pleased to have signed to drive for Team West-Tec in British Formula 3," said Snegirev. "I tested with them last year and they did a very good job on a difficult weather day."

Snegirev is looking forward to lining up alongside Bridger, who will race a Mygale in the Championship Class for West-Tec.

"I am also very pleased to be able to drive last year's championship-winning car and very happy to know that Jay will be on hand to give me any additional advice I need," added Snegirev. "It is very exciting all round."

Snegirev has spent the last two years racing in Formula Palmer Audi and finished 11th in the championship last season.
